Myo for Kids.
Myo for Adults.
Myo for Life.
Myofunctional therapy focuses on retraining the muscles of the tongue, lips, face, and airway to support proper breathing, swallowing, and oral posture. By addressing these foundational patterns, therapy can improve sleep quality, reduce strain on the jaw, and support long-term health for both children and adults.
Bethany Roth, RDH
Bethany is a registered dental hygienist that has specialized in Orofacial myology and the founder of Elevate Airway. With a deep understanding of the connection between oral function and overall health, she works collaboratively with families and healthcare providers to identify underlying functional patterns that can impact quality of life.
Her passion for this began at home. After navigating airway and sleep challenges with her own children, she has seen firsthand how early intervention and proper support can transform health.
Through Elevate Airway, she is dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of proper oral function and breathing, and to provide compassionate, effective care that helps patients breathe better, sleep deeper, and live healthier lives!
It’s for everyone!
In children, myofunctional therapy plays a key role in guiding healthy growth and development. By encouraging nasal breathing, proper tongue posture, and balanced muscle function, therapy can support facial development, reduce mouth breathing habits, and improve sleep quality. Early intervention may also help minimize issues like crowded teeth, snoring, and attention or behavioral concerns linked to poor sleep. The goal is to set a strong foundation for lifelong breathing, sleep, and overall wellness.
For adults, myofunctional therapy helps restore proper function and relieve the effects of long-standing habits. Therapy can reduce symptoms like snoring, clenching, and mouth breathing while supporting better sleep and airway stability. Many patients also notice improvements in jaw comfort, energy levels, and overall quality of life. Whether used alone or alongside other treatments, myofunctional therapy helps create lasting changes by addressing the root cause, not just the symptoms.
